Would you like to fill vases with flowers from your own cutting patch in 2025? Casually drop bunches of dahlias round to friends, or welcome visitors with a waft of sweet peas? If so, I would love you to join my homegrown flowers course, Harvesting Happiness.
Starting in September 2024, I will be showing you how to create a small but mighty cutting patch filled with easy-to-grow flowers that will give you months of blooms. We’ll cover planting bulbs for Spring flowers, autumn sowing hardy annuals, and of course summer annuals. I’ve designed the course for busy people, and you don’t need any growing skills to get involved. Spaces on the course are limited so that I can support everyone through the year.
What is included?
Starting in September, a monthly email and to walk you through everything you need to do to create your cutting patch
A Facebook group where I will post extra videos, and where you can ask all your questions
Two opportunities to meet up at my flower field (near Ardleigh, Essex) for hands-on learning, and of course tea and cake
What do you need?
A growing patch of at least 3m which gets plenty of sun. This could be an existing flower bed, a patch of lawn you’re willing to convert, or even a sunny patio. Wherever it is, I’ll show you how two make a flower patch there
Around £50 over the year to spend on seeds, compost and pots
What does it cost?
The cost of my Harvesting Happiness course is £130
How do I sign up?
To enrol on the course, you can purchase over on my ‘Buy Flowers’ page, or if you have any questions drop me a line using the contact form or by emailing wivenhoeflowers@gmail.com
